# Memoir

> Memoir is a personal memory layer for AI: a remote MCP server that lets an AI Agent such as Cursor save what matters about your life and recall it in any future conversation.

Memoir works in Cursor today over MCP (Streamable HTTP). It exposes four tools — `memoir_capture`, `memoir_ask`, `memoir_forget`, `memoir_who_am_i` — stores structured Memories in one private Vault per Person hosted in the EU (Ireland), is never used to train models, and costs €4.99 per month.
